Destroying integrity with weapons of guilt
Looking for escape
Logic berates, mind vindicates
Bad intentions bide time to suffocate
Madness forever menacing
No time for cowardice, lest your vertebrae devoid
I feel a need, time for valiance to bleed
Chaos ensues, my mind consumes
All thoughts of retaliation
It's an aching need, time for violence to breed
Riddled in contention, as I return to dissension
Riddled in contention, as I return to dissension
Antagonist, left in limbo
The silence, the virus, the essence of zero
Perpetual, decay of honesty as you know
Antagonist, left in limbo
The silence, the virus, the essence of zero
Perpetual, decay of honesty
Staining the tongue, I've given up
Leaving a bitter taste
Staining the tongue, I've given up
Leaving a bitter taste
Staining the tongue, I've given up
Leaving a bitter taste
Staining the tongue, I've had enough
Leaving a bitter taste
Systematic evil reloads the barrel
A shadow marks my undoing
Inebriation brewing, creating new brooding
I am torn between two worlds
Both held hostage for their comforts
Against my will
Escape as you break the binds of solace
Dig deep for your conclusion
Dare walk the line painted in delusion of promise
The eternal internal war, hungers for more
Destroying integrity with weapons of guilt
Looking for escape

Adri Jordaan's level of brutality and shear raw power is ridiculous. What a beast!

Another seamless blend of extreme genres from Stortregn. Killer riffs, tasty basslines, and lots of fun tech influences in the composition and instrumentation make this an absolute banger front to back. Facepalming Panda

When the production is bearable, Exocrine is probably the best tech death band in the world. This and Molten Giant are two of the best records in the genre. The last album had some real production defects that kicked me out (lawn sprinkler drum sound), but The Hybrid Suns is everything you could want in a tech death album. So unbelievably intricate and yet so much fun. It’s impossible to pick a favorite track. Metallurgical Fire

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
